By booking an appointment with Summitline Detailing, accepting a quote, or utilizing our mobile detailing services, you (the "Client") agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Booking, Cancellations, & Rescheduling

Cancellation Notice: We require at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Late Cancellation Fee: Cancellations made inside the notice window may be subject to a $20 cancellation fee.
Weather Policy: Mobile detailing requires specific outdoor conditions to ensure quality results and equipment safety. Summitline Detailing reserves the right to reschedule any appointment without penalty in the event of rain, freezing temperatures, extreme heat, high winds, or hazardous weather.

2. Vehicle Access & Working Conditions

Location Requirements: The Client must provide a safe, legal workspace for our technicians to perform the service (e.g., a spacious driveway, parking lot, or private property). We cannot perform work on busy main streets or unsafe locations.
Utility Access: The Client must provide access to a working water spigot and a standard electrical outlet within 50 feet of the vehicle.
Vehicle Access: The Client must provide vehicle keys or ensure the vehicle is unlocked and accessible at the scheduled start time.

3. Client Responsibilities & Belongings

Personal Items: The Client must remove all personal belongings, valuables, money, and car seats from the vehicle prior to the appointment. Summitline Detailing is not responsible for any lost, damaged, or misplaced items left inside the vehicle.
Child Car Seats: For liability reasons, Summitline Detailing will not re-install child safety seats after cleaning. It is the Client’s responsibility to secure car seats back into the vehicle.

4. Pre-Existing Damage & Liability Limitations

Pre-Inspection: A thorough digital inspection (including photos and/or video) will be conducted before work begins to document the vehicle's condition.
Wear & Tear: Summitline Detailing is not liable for any pre-existing damage, including but not limited to: rock chips, clear coat failure/peeling, sun fading, deeply stained carpets, torn leather, cracked plastic, or loose/brittle interior panels.
Engine Bay Cleaning: If engine bay detailing is requested, the Client acknowledges that water and cleaning agents are used near electrical components. While we take industry-standard precautions, we are not liable for mechanical or electrical failures resulting from pre-existing brittle wiring, faulty seals, or aftermarket modifications.

5. Biohazards, Odors, & Heavy Soiling

Undisclosed Hazards: If a vehicle contains undisclosed biohazards (including but not limited to: mold, mildew, blood, bodily fluids, severe pet waste, or heavy rodent infestation), the service may be refused at our sole discretion.
Heavy Soiling Upcharges: Quotes provided over the phone or online are estimates based on standard vehicle conditions. If a vehicle exhibits extreme pet hair, trash, sand, or deep staining upon physical inspection, Summitline Detailing reserves the right to adjust the final price before work begins.

6. Payment Terms & Satisfaction

Payment Due Date: Payment is due in full immediately upon completion of the service unless prior written arrangements have been made.
Accepted Forms of Payment: We accept cash, major credit cards, and electronic payments via Jobber.
Final Inspection: The Client is encouraged to inspect the vehicle alongside us upon completion. By paying the final invoice, the Client acknowledges they are satisfied with the results and releases Summitline Detailing from any further liability regarding the completed work.

7. Media Release & Privacy

Content Creation: Summitline Detailing reserves the right to take photos and videos of the vehicle before, during, and after the detailing process for marketing, training, and social media content (such as "before and after" transformations). By scheduling our services, you grant permission to use this media for promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed upon.
